She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Oregon, and her Doctorate of Audiology from Arizona State University. Dr. Bega has been a practicing audiologist with Hearing HealthCare Centers in Colorado since 2018. She is thrilled to be apart of a strong team of audiologists who believe in the importance of patient-centered care and best practice.
Dr. Bega believes that appropriately fit hearing technology is critical for optimizing one’s communicative performance, and following Best Practices is the way to achieve that. Best practices in audiology are based on hearing science, and Dr. Bega knows that following standardized protocols when fitting hearing technology are the only way to ensure each patient will hear their absolute best. She joined Dr. Cliffs Best Practice Pro Network to become a part of a community of professionals who believes in the importance of real ear verification, and providing high-quality, patient-centered care like she does.
Dr. Bega believes that the first step in the hearing journey is to identify each individual’s unique hearing needs. Better hearing is a lifelong experience, and Dr. Bega strives to be known as a solid support system to her patients every step of the way.
Growing up, Dr. Bega was surrounded by family members with hearing loss. She experienced firsthand how hearing loss can impact a person’s relationship with their family, and cause frustration in everyday life. She brings with her a strong set of diagnostic and rehabilitative audiological skills as well as a true understanding of how hearing loss can impact an individual and their family. What sets Dr. Bega a part is her unique perspective and her passion to help her patients hear better and reconnect with the world around them.
