WebsiteDr. Lorin S. Oden, originally from the Chicago area, received her Bachelor of Science degree in 1983, her master’s degree in Audiology in1985 and her doctorate in 2009. Dr. Oden worked for a major hearing device manufacturer and Carolina ENT Specialists in Concord before opening Hearing Solutions of North Carolina in 2011. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology, Board Certified in Audiology, licensed by the state of North Carolina as an audiologist and dispenser of hearing devices.
The utilization of Best Practices is imperative in our field. All the providers at Hearing Solutions of North Carolina strictly adhere to the philosophy of creating a person-centered approach to hearing treatment. We believe each person is unique and strive to customize hearing treatment based on each person’s individual needs. Dr. Oden recently completed the CogniHear program. Evaluating ear-to-brain processing through a comprehensive Functional Hearing Assessment allows us to maximize patient outcomes.
Dr. Oden is also a proud member of Entheos Audiology Cooperative, an organization that focuses on Best Practices for their members and brings a reason for their work through serving others. Through Hear the Call, a nonprofit organization meant to bring the gift of hearing around the world, Entheos members have helped people in the United States, Guatemala, Jordan, and Africa have access to better hearing and hearing healthcare.

Dr. Oden resides on High Rock Lake in Salisbury with her husband Mark. The Odens have a son and daughter-in-law who live in Winston-Salem and a son who lives in Salisbury.
