About your local Dr. Cliff Approved Audiologist

Dr. Rachel King is from the Mountain West region and moved to the Midwest in 2010. She graduated with her bachelor’s degree in audiology speech-language sciences in 2006 and with her Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) in 2010, both from the University of Northern Colorado. Dr. King holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) from the American Speech-Language Association (ASHA). She is committed to following best practice guidelines because that is how patients receive the best care. She has seen great improvements in patient’s hearing outcomes as she has upheld best practices in her hearing aid fittings. This brings joy to both her patients and to herself. She feels she went to school to be a rehabilitation specialist and hearing aids are an important part, but only part of the rehabilitation process. She serves her patients better by keeping the whole picture of hearing health in mind as she formulates treatment plans.
