Allison Holmberg, M.S.

Allison Holmberg brings over 30 years of professional hearing health experiences to Hampshire Hearing and Speech, as a dually certified audiologist and speech language pathologist.
A native of Oklahoma, she obtained her bachelor’s degree and then Master of Science, in Communication Disorders, from University of Oklahoma. She holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology, and Speech Language Pathology, by the American Speech Language and Hearing Association and is also a member of the Academy of Audiology.
She began her career in Oklahoma and moved to Massachusetts in 1992. She has professional experience as an audiologist and speech language pathologist working for the Oklahoma State Health Department, Holyoke Medical Center and then Clarke Schools for Hearing and Speech.
She purchased Hampshire Hearing Services(renaming it Hampshire Hearing and Speech) in Northampton, Massachusetts in 2015. She now can focus on providing specialized diagnoses and treatment of hearing loss, tinnitus ,and speech and language issues, as well as provide aural habilitation with technology including hearing aids and cochlear implants.
At Hampshire Hearing and Speech, the team prides themselves on providing best practice audiological care and specializes in differential diagnosis and treatment of hearing loss and tinnitus. She believes that the first step to better hearing begins with a complete diagnostic evaluation and communication needs assessment. Ms. Holmberg is known for her thorough and thoughtful approach to hearing loss treatment and insures that patient goals are met every time. She feels that objective test measures using Best Practices, give essential information about how to use hearing aids as a tool. She values technology and using techniques like real ear verification and electroacoustic measurements allow her to be confident that the hearing devices are operating to the best of their ability as well as are programmed and tuned precisely for each individual. Once she has all the right tools in place then she can counsel the patient appropriately through their adjustment process.
Joining the Dr. Cliff Network allows collaboration with audiologists who share her vision for patient care. Ms. Holmberg and her team implement Best Practices with every patient and being apart of this network allows them to demonstrate their commitment to gold standard care.
