Anne Carter, PhD

Dr. Carter has been practicing as an Audiologist for nearly30 years. An Ohio native, she obtained her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees at Miami University, and her Ph.D. in Communication Science at Vanderbilt University. Dr. Carter has authored and co-authored 13 journal articles, 5 book chapters, and has presented at nearly 20 professional conferences.Dr. Carter began her career in Tennessee and eventually moved to Florida in 2001 to care for her ailing grandmother. She has worked in various settings including Ear-Nose-Throat practices, individually owned clinics, and hospital settings. Because some workplaces did not use Best Practices, Dr. Carter felt that she was not always providing the highest quality healthcare to her patients. As a result, Pasadena Hearing Care was founded in 2012 in South Pasadena, Florida. Since its inception, Dr. Carter has implemented Best Practices to provide top-quality hearing healthcare to hundreds of patients. She joined the Dr. Cliff Approved Provider Network to distinguish herself from the many practices in Florida that do not share her vision and commitment to gold standard care. In her spare time, Dr. Carter enjoys boating and collecting seashells on the beautiful Florida beaches.‍‍
