About your local Dr. Cliff Approved Audiologist

Dr. Harrison is the owner of Today’s Hearing, and has been a practicing audiologist since 1976. She earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Communication Disorders from Southern Methodist University in 1975, a Master’s of Science in Audiology from North Texas State University in 1976, and a Doctorate of Audiology from Arizona School of Health Sciences in 2003. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology (AAA), received a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), and is a member of the Texas Academy of Audiology.

Dr. Harrison specializes in providing hearing conservation programs for musicians. She has worked with bands such as U2, Aerosmith, the Dave Mathews Band and many others. Other clients include NASA, Continental Airlines and River Dance.

She is married to—and shares office space with—Tommy Harrison, D.D.S., providing both audiology and dental care under the same roof. They have two children, Katie Comer and Jill Bennett. Both reside in the Katy area.‍
