Meaghan Hanson, F-AAA, CCC-A

Dr. Meaghan Hanson has been with Thigpen Hearing Center since 2017, bringing extensive clinical expertise and a patient-centered approach to audiological care. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Mississippi in 2013, followed by her Doctor of Audiology from Auburn University in 2017. Her professional background encompasses comprehensive experience in otolaryngology-based audiology, as well as diagnostic and rehabilitative care for patients across the lifespan.

Dr. Hanson is certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (CCC-A) and is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology (FAAA). She is dedicated to staying current with advancements in hearing healthcare and evidence-based practices to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Her clinical interests include auditory diagnostics, hearing aid technology, and individualized treatment planning tailored to each patient’s unique hearing needs.

Dr. Hanson is deeply committed to providing compassionate, high-quality hearing care to the Murfreesboro community. Beyond work, she enjoys traveling with her family, supporting her alma mater’s Ole Miss Rebels, and taking ballet lessons. An active member of Mother Teresa Catholic Church, she’s the proud owner of a black Labrador named Ron.
