Megan Kolmodin, Au.D.

Dr. Megan Kolmodin earned her bachelor’s degree in Speech and Hearing Science at the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana and her Doctorate in Audiology at Rush University in Chicago. Dr. Kolmodin has experience working in various settings including private practice, ENT outpatient clinics, and most recently in a large hospital setting at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. From her clinical experiences, she has gained a wide scope of knowledge and skills allowing her to provide well-rounded patient care.

Dr. Kolmodin’s clinical interests include adult amplification, cochlear implants, tinnitus management, and diagnostics. She is passionate about using evidenced-based best practices to provide comprehensive patient-centered care, including comprehensive hearing evaluations, speech-in-noise testing, and real-ear measurements. Dr. Kolmodin believes it is important to collaborate with patients and their families in order to best meet their individual needs.

Dr. Kolmodin currently holds the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-A), she is a member on the board of Illinois Academy of Audiology, and she is a Hearing Up approved provider.

Outside of work, Dr. Kolmodin enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter.
