About your local Dr. Cliff Approved Audiologist

Dr. Vavrock's passion for helping others hear better began in childhood when her mother required surgery to improve her hearing. She earned a master's degree from Auburn University and a doctorate in audiology from A.T. Still University. With 15 years of experience in ENT practices, she built a solid foundation in medical audiology before joining Thigpen Hearing Center in 2014.

Working in private practice allows her to dedicate time to patients, building relationships to improve hearing. Dr. Vavrock is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and holds a certificate of clinical competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.

Outside of work, she enjoys time with her husband and two children, traveling, cooking, and spending time at the lake. She is a Girl Scout leader and an active member of New Vision Baptist Church.
