ReSound Vivia hearing aids utilize a powerful Deep Neural Network (DNN) combined with advanced directional microphone technology to separate speech from background noise. This artificial intelligence-based system was trained with over 13.5 million spoken sentences to recognize and enhance speech while reducing unwanted sounds.
The Vivia system offers comprehensive sound processing capabilities, making it easier to hear conversations in challenging environments. When you activate the Hear in Noise program, the system engages its Intelligent Focus feature, combining DNN-based noise reduction with a four-microphone binaural beamformer to optimize speech clarity.
Available Models and Features
The ReSound Vivia comes in several different configurations to suit your needs:
- Rechargeable MicroRIE (with compatible MicroRIE CROS transmitter for single-sided deafness)
- Size 312 disposable battery model
- Size 13 disposable battery model with telecoil
These models can treat a wide range of hearing losses from mild to severe-to-profound using different receiver power options:

- Ultra power
For moderate to severe hearing losses, we recommend custom earmolds rather than rubber domes to maximize performance. These can be created using either physical impressions or 3D digital scanning technology.

The Vivia hearing aids come in four technology levels:
- Level 9 (Premium)
- Level 7
- Level 5
- Level 4
Each level offers different features and customization options. For access to the Deep Neural Network technology, you'll need the Level 9 rechargeable MicroRIE model.
