Does your hearing aid need to be reprogrammed, or does it need to be repaired?

In this video, I share a story of a patients hearing aids that she thinks are in need of reprogramming.  Testing revealed that the hearing aids were in-fact not functioning properly and were in need of repair.  http://www.AppliedHearingSolutions.com

Ways to prevent Hearing Aid Repairs:

1. Seeing your Audiologist regularly - Audiologists can do more detailed maintenance on your devices to prevent issues from arising.

2.  Home Preventative Maintenance - Cleaning your own hearing aids regularly is essential to proper hearing aid function.

3. Use a Dry and Store Kit - If you are not using a hearing aid dryer, your hearing aid will lose sound quality and shorten it's usable life.

I recommend the Zephyr or the Westone Hearing Aid Saver.
