Avni Patankar, Au.D., CCC-A

Avni Patankar, Au.D., CCC-A, audiologist and owner of Maple Hearing Clinic in Cumming, GA, holds a Doctor of Audiology degree from East Tennessee State University. Her clinical training included the Mountain Home Veterans Affairs Medical System in Johnson City, TN, and an audiology externship at the University of California Davis Medical Center in Sacramento, CA.

With hearing loss in her own family, Dr. Patankar understands its potential struggles and impacts firsthand and is committed to providing exceptional, compassionate care for patients of all ages. She began her career working with pediatric patients and has since served people ranging from newborns to centenarians.

Her background includes work with Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, Pediatric ENT of Atlanta, Emory Healthcare, and Connect Hearing as well as experience with major hearing aid brands, cochlear implants, and bone-anchored hearing aids.

Dr. Patankar is board-certified through the American Speech-Language Hearing Association and a member of the American Tinnitus Association, American Academy of Audiology, and Academy of Doctors of Audiology.

Outside the clinic, she enjoys family time with her husband, two daughters, and their yellow lab, whether traveling, visiting the Golden Isles of Georgia, enjoying board game nights, or being active outdoors.
