Cynthia Chow, AuD

Dr. Chow received her doctorate of Audiology and doctorate of Philosophy from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Her PhD studies in hearing science provide her with a unique understanding of sound perception which she applies to the treatment and management of hearing loss and tinnitus. Dr. Chow holds a certificate of Clinical Competency in Audiology by the American Speech and Hearing Association. She is a member of the Illinois Academy of Audiology and fellow of the American Academy of Audiology.
Dr. Chow’s professional interests include the diagnosis and treatment of hearing loss, tinnitus management, patient education, hearing conservation, and teaching. She is passionate about providing patient centered care utilizing best practices. Dr. Chow recognizes that every patient’s hearing needs are different and is capable of helping people hear their best in all listening environments.
Dr. Chow resides in Oak Park close to her workplace. She enjoys hiking, kayaking, watching sports, playing the harp, trying new recipes, and spending time with her family, friends and her XXL rescue Great Dane.
