Mary Kate Donegan, AuD

Originally from Chicago’s southwest suburbs, Mary Kate Donegan, Au.D., now calls Northern California home after earning both her bachelor’s degree and Doctorate of Audiology from the University of Kansas (Rock Chalk!). Growing up in a family where many struggled with hearing loss, she became aware early on of its impact and the isolation it can cause. With a strong desire to help others, she enjoys addressing the unique needs of each patient. She utilizes best practices to improve their quality of life, whether by explaining difficulties with background noise, diagnosing dizziness, or providing hearing aid support. Dr. Donegan loves the variety her work brings and the opportunity to make a difference every day. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her cat, Sylvie, exploring new places, reading, and watching movies or TV. A passionate traveler, she aims to visit at least one new U.S. destination each year. She often encourages her patients with her motto: “All we can do is give it our best shot.
