Sara Nagel, Au.D.

Dr. Sara Nagel is a Texas-licensed, nationally certified, and award-winning Doctor of Audiology with more than 25 years of experience helping patients achieve better hearing. Early in her career, she served as a pediatric audiologist at Texas Children’s Hospital, where she witnessed the life-changing impact of family-centered, evidence-based hearing care.

In 2008, Dr. Nagel founded The Center for Audiology to bring that same level of expertise and compassion to adults. Known for her patient centered approach, she combines advanced diagnostic skills with personalized care for children, adults, and seniors. She remains at the forefront of emerging technology and treatment options, offering comprehensive care from hearing loss prevention to advanced rehabilitation.

Dr. Nagel is recognized as a top 1% Lyric extended-wear hearing aid provider nationwide and was among the first practice owner in the U.S. to offer Lenire, the first FDA-approved tinnitus treatment. She employs best practices consistently, including speech-in-noise testing, real-ear measurements, and electroacoustic analysis of hearing aids, to ensure every patient receives optimal hearing clarity, precision, and improved quality of life.

Under her leadership, The Center for Audiology has grown into one of the most trusted hearing healthcare practices in the Greater Houston area, with four locations in Friendswood, Houston, Humble, and Friendswood.

Outside the office, Dr. Nagel is blessed to be a wife, MOM (mother of many), and more recently, a grandmother of energetic little guys who keep her young. She enjoys the outdoors and all kinds of fitness activities,as well as volunteering opportunities.
